Good morning everyone,
Thanksgiving holidays are approaching and, as we have for 25 years with your support, Josh, I and the entire Dannheisser Injury Law Firm with the Safe Children Coalition led by Jone Williams and CEO Brena Slater are raising funds to provide Thanksgiving dinners to needy families in the Sarasota Manatee communities. I hope each of you and your families have continued to be healthy and prosperous. We still have many families in our community who are not as fortunate and are struggling in many ways. Additional shoutouts to Publix Supermarkets and to Laura Potter and Construction Supply of Southwest Florida for providing her trucks and drivers to deliver the boxes of dinners. Last year, with your financial support we provided Thanksgiving dinners to more than 800 needy families in the Sarasota and Manatee counties in this year’s need is even greater. These are families that but for your generosity will not share a Thanksgiving dinner together and, be assured, your generosity makes a difference for each and every mom, dad and child.
Publix Supermarkets store # 148Â has again generously agreed to provide boxes of Thanksgiving family dinners at a discounted cost. Each box will feed a family of 8 turkey, vegetables, sides, and a pie. Our tremendous thanks again to Publix Supermarkets and Construction Supply of Southwest Florida.
Each Thanksgiving dinner will be delivered to each family personally by the young boys and girls in our Safe Children’s Coalition Achievers program several days before Thanksgiving. In order to coordinate with Publix we need a final counting of monies on hand by Friday November 14. Each year I am filled with pride, appreciation and humility over what we have been able to do for these families. It’s what our community does year in and year out, it’s what we do as a nation and I can not express my appreciation enough for us coming together to make a difference for people. Our successes year-end it out helping families share Thanksgiving’s have been possible only by your support and generosity.
My firm is funding 50 dinners this year and we would appreciate whatever support at any level you are comfortable to provide.
