The Sarasota Family YMCA has been established in Sarasota for 65 years, spreading its positive influence to more than 80,000 people through four fitness branches and more than 60 youth and family development programs. Dan Dannheisser Appointed to Community Coalition for Children

The Community Coalition for Children offers corporations, small businesses and religious establishments the opportunity to partner with the Sarasota YMCA to provide support to needy children in our community. The Coalition coordinates volunteer and fundraising activities to meet the educational, healthcare, clothing and school supply needs of more than 1,000 foster children and homeless children in Sarasota County.

Dan Dannheisser Is Appointed to the 12th Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission by Florida Governor Rick Scott.

The Judicial Nominating Commission is 26 separately constituted commissions responsible for advising the governor regarding appointments of judges to the 20 Florida Circuit Courts, the 5 Florida District Courts of Appeal and the Florida Supreme Court. The commissions are established pursuant to Article V of the Florida Constitution.
